Five Month Photoshoot

I spent some time photographing baby Seb the other day and attempted some self-portraits using my tripod and remote. It was super time consuming, especially since I had specific shots in mind that I wanted to capture (mostly stuff I found on my baby pic Pinterest board. Curse you, Pinterest, for giving me such high standards) and wasn’t totally successful. But the photos I did get I was happy with, especially the baby’s portraits. He had a self-inflicted scratch down one cheek, giving him the rakish appearance of a Bond villain, so I upped the cute factor by dressing him in a pair of Cotton On leggings I bought while I was in Melbourne. I kept the photos very bright and didn’t faff around with props, just sticking to black and white on the baby with a white muslin wrap. I slapped on a fair bit of makeup before getting in front of the camera because the more tired out I am the more concealer I need.

This is his face 90% of the time. None of my kids have ever spent this much time with their tongue hanging out….

A brief pause to refuel, because being photographed is hard work…
